Alpha … ask anything about life, faith and God

Alpha is for everyone, including those wanting to reinvestigate their Catholic faith or consider it for the first time. Alpha is being used by thousands of Catholic parishes in over 70 countries around the world.

Alpha brings people closer and helps them to find that power which unites. The Alpha experience is not only a means through which one finds true life, but also a way to share the good news of the Living Christ.” (Cardinal Marc Ouellet)

logo_web_200Everyone has questions. Questions about purpose, eternity and love. Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to explore those questions with food, a video, a talk and open discussion. It is offered without any cost to those who choose to participate.

Alpha introduces people of all ages to the first proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ, otherwise known as the Kerygma: ‘Jesus Christ loves you; he gave his life to save you, and now he is living at your side to enlighten, strengthen and free you.’ (Evangelii Gaudium, 164).

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question, and is designed to create conversation. There’s no pressure, no follow-up and no charge; it’s just an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together. You are invited to join us at 7:00 for an excellent meal, at 7:30 we come together and watch a video followed by a time of small group discussion and sharing.
