Fr. Jan and Deacon Brent are again reaching out to members of our parish and beyond with a “reflection” based on the liturgy for Sunday, March 29. You can view this by clicking below or streaming it from our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1071645112898015).
People are asking about our plans for Holy Week and while we are awaiting the specific direction of our Archbishop, we hope to continue these reflections for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, we will have mini-messages for Holy Thursday and Good Friday, and if permitted, release a photo slideshow of the Easter Vigil. Our plans largely depend on the instructions we will receive and any additional limitations placed on us at this time by community authorities.
In today’s reflection, Deacon Brent quotes an article by Deacon Bill Ditewig. The article may be found online here: https://billditewig.blog/2020/03/22/forty-days-our-lenten-quarantine/ The article concludes …
“During this time of quarantine, we pray for all who are suffering from the Coronavirus and their families. During this time of quarantine, we pray for those who are suffering from its long-term effects, such as those who have lost their jobs or other fallout from this crisis. During this time of quarantine, may we seek healing on every level so that, once strengthened on every level we may enter into our new Easter life with joy and enthusiasm.“
Take care of yourself. Take care of your neighbour. Reach out to us should you be in need of help, assistance or have any questions or concern.

Blessings and prayers.
